3 online shopping days to Xmas…

And while I was going to post about a really disappointing experience…I’ll have to save it and return to my first post and the tale of Oye Modern.

I’ve already said they were great. But today they became super-great – and as I write this I know that it is really quite odd when the very, very simple things please us so much. But you know, it’s not the devil in the details, it’s magic…

Here’s what happened today.

Not only was my new zip-it necklace universally admired last night, but today I also received an email from Oye Modern following up about my purchase and just wondering if I’d like to review it. The email also asked if I’d like to post a pic of myself wearing the necklace…which I will do as soon as I have a super zushi one of me available.

Now I know that this was sent out by auto-responder – at least I’m 98% sure it was.

But here’s the thing:

  1. It WAS sent out
  2. It came from SOMEONE
  3. It was well-timed – not immediately after I received but not too long so that I’d forgotten about it
  4. My review didn’t have to be approved ed – it was automatically posted.

Now really, this isn’t hard to do. But it sure makes a difference. ‘Cos guess what? I’m now a raving fan….In fact, I liked it all so much I bought one for a friend this morning..
